A, AX - organic gases and fumes (e.g. acetonitrile, acrylonitrile, benzol and its derivatives, methyl acrylate, methyl bromide, methyl mercaptan, ethyl mercaptan, ethylene sulphide, ethylene imine, chloropicrin, phosphorus-organic substances).Testing substance - cyclohexane.

B - acid gases and fumes (e.g. chlorine, arsenious hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide, carbon bisulfide, cyanide hydrogen, phosgene, chlorincyane). Testing substances - chlorine, cyanide hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide.

Е - acid gases and fumes (e.g. sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen bromide, hydrogen fluoride). Testing substance - sulfur dioxide.

K - ammonia and its organic derivatives (e.g. ammonia, dimethylamine, trimethylamine). Testing substance - ammonia.

PHOENIXTM protective hood provides protection from the most dangerous combustion products (aerosols (smokes)), cyanide hydrogen, chloride hydrogen, acrolein and other organic substances).

According to GOST 12.1.004 protective hood PHOENIXTM can be used at concentration of carbon monoxide up to 0,1 % (1,16 g/m3).

 

1.5. Tests & Checkouts

 

PHOENIXTM protective hoods and all raw materials of manufacturing are tested in order to control their quality under programs of the incoming and outgoing inspections. The incoming inspection of materials and whole-made products is conducted in specialized laboratory of the Epicenter Market LLC, incoming inspection of sorbents - in the "Tambovmash" JSC. Production lines of the Epicenter Market LLC are certified by the system of a quality management in accordance with GOST R ISO 9001-2001.

While conducting research and development works and the following certification PHOENIXTM protective hoods have successfully passed all-round tests:

- in the "Tambovmash" JSC (Tambov);

- in the «Epicenter-Market» LLC (Moscow);

- in the Military Academy of Chemical Protection (Moscow);

- in the research center "Ecocenter" FGUP «ENPO» Neorganica» (Electrostal, the Moscow region);

- in the military unit # 44026..
