In connection with stated above within the limits of the present(true) clause(article) it is represented expedient to stop on the some people научнотехнических aspects of a problem of maintenance of the chemical safety, connected with development and introduction of means of an individual defence of the population from dangerous chemical factors in extreme situations. And, proceeding from variety of possible(probable) situations, it is obvious, that the system of means of protection of the population should be for good safety created. The important element of such system should to be, in our opinion, носимые the means protecting bodies of breath, an eye and a leather(skin) of the person(face) from aerosols(sprays) of dangerous chemical and biologically active substances, and also паров and gases of dangerous chemical substances. They should provide to the person an opportunity independently to leave(abandon) a dangerous zone, having lowered thus risk of negative consequences up to some admissible levels. Similar products can be named self-rescuers.

Now self-rescuers are not considered(examined) as an independent class of means of an individual defence, have no corresponding(meeting) normative and technical and legal base. It results(brings), in our opinion, in various understanding of questions of ideology of development and use of the given kind of products and, finally, brakes their development, introduction in manufacture and promotion on the consumer market. Necessity of allocation of self-rescuers for a separate class is caused by a number(line) of such objective reasons, as: specific purpose(assignment,destination); features of requirements shown to them on frequency rate of use, the list and a level of protective properties, conditions of application, operational characteristics.

Maintenance of chemical and biological safety is considered as one of the major direc-tions of national safety of the state. The urgency and necessity of increase of a level of chemical and biological safety for modern conditions is caused by a number of factors, in particular:

Accrueing quantity in the country of dangerous objects with close to limiting or completely settled technical and technological resources;
